So we all have the days where we feel like shit and we don't feel pretty. You know those days where we feel more like Courtney Love than Marilyn Monroe. I dread those days so much! So here are 10 ways to make your off day a little bit brighter!
1. Start your day off with a little bit of a dance party, yeah?
Turn on your favorite music and put on a full blown performance for your stuff animals, pets or pillows. The music and the dancing around releases endorphins, the happy drug from your brain, which instantly brightens your morning.
2. Put on your favorite bra and panties.
Hey no one needs to know your rocking your favorite undies except you or you can share and make your partner's day brighten up... Your underwear can actually affect our mood, so if you wear something a bit more sexy then BAM! you will feel more Ooh! La! La! confident and sexy than
ew! blah! Blah!
3. Workout.
Like dancing, working out releases the happy drug. Also after working out you feel sore but a gratifying sore because you are helping your body, toning, and just getting healthier. So workout whether its running, walking, dancing, skipping, swimming, yoga, having some fun in the bedroom, just get moving.
4. Take a relaxing bath.
Run some bath water, add some bubbles, maybe a few drops of essential oils, light some candles, add some flower petals, and play some pandora. Just lay and relax in the tub, try not to think about anything stressful, think of happy things. It will make you feel so much better.
5. Wear High Heels.
Heels are girly, sexy, and fun, so of course they would make you feel prettier. I mean seriously, heels make your already amazing ass and legs look even more amazing.
6. Put on Lipstick.
I honestly cannot stress how much this will help. Even if you are wearing a trash bag, putting on lipstick just kind of completes any look. Sit down play with different looks, try different lipsticks, or go to a counter and get it done professionally. Just have fun.
7. Chummy Time
Nothing will cheer you up more than best friend time. I know when I hang out with Kylie(left), she instantly just makes me happier because I'm spending time with someone who gets me and helps me whenever I'm down, that is why she is my bestest chummy. Call up your chum, go out and have a carefree time, nothing will brighten your day up more.
8. Go down memory lane.
Spend sometime going through some of your pictures from your favorite time in your life, remember the good ol days.
9. Tea or Coffee?
Go try some different teas or coffees at your local bookstore or cafe. Order the fanciest thing on the menu, grab a book or magazine. Relax.
10. Just Laugh.
Laughing is the best medicine, seriously. Watch a comedy sketch, laugh with your best friend, or just laugh at cats on youtube. The most important thing is to Laugh. Laughing is one of the most beautiful things a person can do.
